This is my snail rattle. i created this with two pinch pots and put little balls of clay inside and slipped and scored the pinch pots to make a hollow ball. i added a rolled out piece of clay for the head and pinched up to eyes. i carved out a mouth with a needle. i poked 4 holes in the back so it would not explode. i used low fire paint to with the snail a cartoony feel and vibrant colors.
This was my cylinder. i created this on the wheel. i made this by first centering a ball of clay then put a hole  in the center and opening it and stretching it upward. it is about 6 inches tall and has 2 color of high fire glaze on it. yellow on the inside and blue on the outside.
My coil pot was made from many coils of clay. a coil is a rolled out piece of clay and made into a circle if you slip and score a bunch of them together you get a unique textured piece. This one i dipped half in a light blue and half in a royal blue high fire glaze.
This was the box I made. I made this box by first starting out with a a wedged ball of clay. I took this ball and rolled it out. I then cut out six 6 in X 6 in squares. Once they dried out a little bit i slipped and scored them to create a box. I took a needle and created a beach scene with water birds the sun and a boat and also some clouds. i created a sand castle to be the handle on the top and added slip with my finger to the top so it gave a texture like sand. once it became green ware i painted it with low fire glaze and put a clear low fire glaze to give it a shiny look.

This is the pinch pot i made. I took a ball of clay, and pinched it out in to a rectangular shape. after, i added some feet to the bottom of it to stand on. i added some zig zags and dots to add a design. once fired i added a teal glaze that did not work.
This is wire penguin. I took wire and bent it to form circles and other shapes and tied them together so there was a head, body, feet, and wings. After, i paper mached the head, and wings. I did not paper mache the whole head, just two sections, one in the front and one in the back. This created negative space giving it a unique look. Once dried, i painted the wings black and gave it a face.
